Direct from my Pauline, South Carolina kitchen. If you're a fan of "Love Dat Lemon", then this "Oh! Oh! Orange" is for you! The cake layers have a hint of pure orange flavor. Between the layers we put our homemade orange curd that is cooked in small batches in my grandmother's enamel pot. Our signature buttercream icing has fresh orange zest and a little curd mixed in. Fresh, light, delicious and perfect for springtime!
